From the Movie desk

Thank you members! You helped making the first GAMA event of 2007 (CHAKKARAMUTHU) a big success. We had a good audience of over 150 people. We all had many a good laugh at the Dileep jokes, enjoyed the snacks available at the counter and on the whole had a good experience. However I have to say that I wished the movie didn’t end that way and I am sure many of you would agree with me on that.

With the annual picnic and SARE-GAMA events, we have decided to have the next movie show in the third or fourth week of May.

Would you like to learn/teach our mother tongue?

Thanks to Sudhir Perinchery and Susan George (Geetha), there is an initiative by the GAMA board to start Malayalam classes for all those who are interested in learning our mother tongue.

A sign-up sheet will be available at the Picnic registration desk. Those of you who would like to be a part of this new initiative, either as a student or a teacher, please be sure to fill in your details in the signup sheet. The venue, timing and frequency would be decided by the teachers and would be based on the response and their availability
